The SAVE Youth Leadership Conference is  to equip college students in South Florida with professional skills in a safe, welcoming environment. This conference helps you build the essential foundation for your professional journey. Dr. Hana Chae - Chair

Dr. Chae serves as the Youth Programming Director at SAVE, where she oversees impactful initiatives, including the social justice internship program. Deeply passionate about mentorship, she guides college students to unlock their potential and emerge as the next generation of leaders.

Chloe Kerr - Member

Chloe is a senior attending Florida International University with a major in Natural and Applied Sciences and a minor in Biology. After graduation, Chloe wants to get my certification to teach in Florida and becoming a middle school science teacher in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

Nev Moley - Member

Nev is a rising third-year student at the University of Miami majoring in International Relations and Spanish on the pre-law track. After interning with SAVE, Nev developed a passion for mobilizing voters and endorsing pro-equality candidates in South Florida.

Rihanna Bajnath - Member

Rihanna is a Political Science student at Florida International University on the Pre-Law Track in the Honors College. Her experience as a former SAVE LGBTQ Intern inspired her to work in state politics, deepening her understanding of advocacy, public policy, and the legislative process.

  • This conference is open to all college students in South Florida. Registration will be open soon. Once it opens, make sure to register to secure your spot! Registration will be open soon here

  • There will be a post session where students can present their research or passion projects related to social justice and advancing equality. The submission portal will open in late May. If you want to receive notifications regarding this, please sign up here

     

    The submission deadline for the poster presentation is August 2.
